Marriage Basics Course Description

I first would like to thank you and your husband for sharing your life experiences with us and valuable time. The class has been a tremendous blessing to us. I have been enlightened, challenged and blessed with great understanding about marriage in ways that I have not known. I pray as GOD will continue to bless your marriage ministry, that each class you all teach that GOD will fortify your marriage. As you continue being an example for the body of Christ as one. Thank you again GOD bless you all. 

My husband and I took the marriage basics course in January of 2014. We had already been married for 3 years at that point but we didn’t start off our marriage with the right solid foundation with God. Carol & Mark are incredible at what they teach & it completely changed both of our mind sets on marriage and compromise. It also changed and helped our communication entirely. We both wish we had taken the class before we got married & we are always looking forward to the next marriage class/conference held by Carol & Mark.

Marriage Basics was essential in preparing us for a successful marriage. During this class we gained valuable tools for communication, found ways to work through conflict, and learned more about each other. We began taking this class while we were engaged, and now have been married for 6 wonderful years. Our relationship is stronger having invested the time to attend Marriage Basics. Applying “The 5 Love Languages” lesson has been beneficial to all of our relationships. We are forever grateful to Mark and Carol for their wisdom and for helping us prepare for a healthy and happy marriage.

As someone that has taken Marriage Basics and had the privilege of teaching it I can highly recommend this class to anyone planning on marriage or needing to strengthen your relationship with your spouse. Everyone I have referred to Marriage Basics have come back to me with great thanks. Believe me this is a very wise investment you will be glad you made!

We were newly engaged, and knew that we needed some type of foundational training before entering into the marriage covenant. We did the Marriage Basics class with Mark and Carol. Together we laughed, cried, and learned to communicate better. To plan for our future with God at the center, and fell in love deeper than we even knew was possible.
